J. Shepherd is a design and fabrication studio. We work across materials—wood, metal, resin, leather, concrete, whatever the project demands—to take ideas from conversation to finished object.

We're not precious about process. We'd rather figure it out, learn something, and make the thing than wait for perfect conditions.

Too many good ideas die in the planning stage because making feels intimidating or inaccessible. It doesn't have to be. Problems are solvable if you break them down and try things. That's the whole secret.
